Social Meetings

All of our meetings are open for everybody to attend. Feel free to pop in and say hello.

PLUS social meetings take place every second Wednesday of each month at 7:30pm in The Arden Arms pub. Our next social meeting is on Wednesday, 14 May 2008.

The Arden Arms is located on Millgate, behind Asda. Opposite the pub is the Newbridge Lane Car Park. There is a bus stop 20 metres walk from the pub, at the front of Asda, on Warren Street. Numerous regular bus services from Stockport Bus Station stop outside Asda, including the 7, 203, 324, 325, 327, 330, 384 and 386.

We also run regular reading group meetings and the exercise group runs regular walks. For more information about these meetings please click on the relevant links on the left.

In addition, we hold regular committee meetings to discuss the group's plans and information relevant to the local LGBT community. Our committee meetings are open to all PLUS members, as well as agency workers. The committee meetings normally take place on a Wednesday evening in the Wellbeing Centre on Chestergate.
